Review of The Burning Plain (2008) by Petra S — 30 May 2009
I liked this drama alot. Theron does yet another unforgetable portrait of a troubled woman with a past.
The story moves along in a slow and steady pace, giving you pieces of the puzzle as it moves along while jumping back and forth in time. Timejumping can be hard but in this movie it didn't bother me. It's not all predictable and that's a good thing. I also liked the music/sound.
Can't wait to see what Guillermo Arriaga has for us in the future.
