Review of The Burning Plain (2008) by Anthony D — 27 Jan 2010
Had high hopes for this one. Look like from preview it might be something really emotional and epic. It's chopped up quite a bit and that does not help at all. If not so well acted pretty much around the board, perhaps the movie is a complete bust.
I've not seen Jennifer Lawrence in anything else, but if she normally plays peppy characters, her job in this movie is all the more profound.
