Review of The Burning Plain (2008) by Hugo G — 17 Feb 2010
The Burning Plain tries to tell it's story in a non-linear way. It does do that successfully. However, it does not resonate well with the actors. The performances are bland, dis-truthful, and boring.
Kim Basinger gives the best performance, but it isn't especially remarkable. However, the film is shot beautifully, unfolds in an interesting way, and ends on a satisfactory note.
