Review of The Burning Plain (2008) by Aída M — 13 Sep 2010
Arriaga's directorial debute is quite typically for him a story with a non-chronological structure (f.i. Amores Perros, 21 Grams and Babel) about three women and their struglles with love and life.
Many strong performances in this but I figured out the rest of the story after one third of the films running time. The film had a lot of potential but just doesn't quite achieve it. Solid indie drama.
