Review of The Burning Plain (2008) by Bruno C — 04 Aug 2011
A little shocked to see Jennifer Lawrence in this one. I liked how everything weaved together in the stories, maybe a bit too neatly? I liked the perspective taken, of how kids are affected/interpret matrimonial infidelity, my expectations were pretty high that there would be some really powerful stuff.
..kinda all simmered with uneasy calmness through traumas. Slightly let down but still a solid film.
