Watching this movie is a solemn family ritual. The stoic close-ups of the neighbors (and Queenie) as spaghetti western music swells, Brother Theodore's menacing stare at Hanks, "I've never seen that.
..a guy driving his garbage to the street and banging the hell out of it...I've never seen that" So many campy visual laughs, but even more subtle character-driven laughs...one of my favorites of all time.
