Review of The 'Burbs (1989) by Benjamin M — 07 Feb 2010
I must have seen this movie a thousand times and not once have I ever been bored. Put simply, this movie has the best one liners of any movie I have ever seen (and I've seen plenty of Bruce Willis films).
Tom Hanks is the lead, though it is Bruce Dern, Rick Ducommun and Corey Feldman who steal the show. Each of their characters is more unusual than the next. It reminds you of your childhood; running around, sneaking into the neighbours yard.
It's loads of fun in its darkly comical ways. Recommend to all who know what it means to live in the suburbs.
