The best the Suburban Black Comedy sub-genre has to offer in its time period, "the 'Burbs" has a pitch perfect tone of subtle,dark humor and terrific performances from its ensemble---particulary Tom Hanks.
Those craving humor within horror will undoubtably be amused =).
