Review of The 'Burbs (1989) by Tommy V — 26 Feb 2011
Moderatly amusing comedy with a nice twist. It took me a few times watching this one to get why it is so loved. I guess I get it. Nosey neighboors in a suburban neighborhood with strange things going on.
Of course, everyone wants to know what it is. This cult comedy is good for one time, and one good time only. It's no Rocky Horror. Let's put it this way. If Steven Speilberg, David Lynch and Tim Burton had a lovechild, it would be the The 'Burbs.
