Review of The 'Burbs (1989) by Tim F — 11 Apr 2011
Very funny and outrageous concept of a neighbourhood overconcerened about their new neighbours. Everyone's characteristics are laid out from the start with ludacris aspects and axaggerations. The peacefull place becomes a center of misbehavior and morbid actions taking place in the cellar of the peculiar new inhabbitants.
OUr three neighbours have vast suspiscious of something weird going on there. Digging in the backyard, light and ruckuss coming from the basement and then a 'human' bone is found. So they take messures in their own hands.
The end is quiet exciting and vey suprising! Simpel but effective horror-comedy! (seen twice).
