Tom Hanks in any form is good no matter which way you slice it, Tom Hanks playing opposite Carrie Fisher in a non-Princess Leia role sounds even better. Alas, I remember loving this film a lot more as a kid than I found I enjoyed it as an adult.
Its quirky enough, and it contains plenty of that "Tom Hanks chucking a spazz in an 80's film" stuff but after a while you do find yourself getting a little bored. In fact, I had to have two seperate sessions to get through the film.
