Director Joe Dante's The 'Burbs, Is An Often Misunderstood Comedy Horror Which Has Some Dark Humor, The Film Uses It's Horror Elements To Great Comic Effect. The Film Is Moderately Comical With A Classic Twist.
The Film Surrounds Tom Hanks And His Fellow Neighbors As They Spy On The Klopek's As They Have Recently Moved In Next Door, But There Strange Behavior Leads The Rest Of The Suburbanites To Believe They Are Cannibals.
What Is Left Is A Series Of Slapstick Misadventures, Which Will Be A Hit Or A Miss To It's Viewers.
