Review of The Bucket List (2007) by Jonathan O — 05 Oct 2010
The Bucket List is a fun movie that pairs two great actors (Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman) as grumpy cancer patients who share a hospital room and decide to go out in style by making a list of things to do and see before they die.
The key word is â??fun,â?? because there is not a lot of depth to this movie. If anything, there is too much serious coping, family discussion, and sad acceptance of condition before the movie takes off with the skydiving and race car driving.
I wish they could have extended the actual bucket adventures before bringing the two home. This movie is directed by Rob Reiner which automatically causes it to lose a star, but overall itâ??s a good movie worth watching if you need to lift your spirits or need a good laugh.
