Review of The Bucket List (2007) by Zac M — 29 May 2012
Movies that want to provide a good hearted message don't generally come around too often, this movie does a pretty decent job though. Rob Reiner handles his cast of Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson wonderfully, the chemistry Freeman and Nicholson present within the movie is a pleasant surprise.
Both characters Edward(Nicholson) and Carter(Freeman) are dying of cancer and as they become closer both unwittingly help eachothers' lives become more meaningful, at least for the film's sake.
"The Bucket List" is full of emotion from it's comedic cast to it's uplifting narrative. I really enjoyed this film not everyone will enjoy it, but I like the way that it assists you in reflecting on your own life and think about what you could do to make it better.
Anyone looking for a good laugh and a genuine story will definitely like this movie.
