[font=Tahoma]Three years ago I saw for the first time Brown Bunny. I should confess that I saw it in three parts because I slept the first two attempts. And when I reached the end everything was worth.

It was worth because it was not only an experiment in narcisism or another road movie or empty avant garde that was what appeared to be at first. I read the reviews and I doubted it was so bad as they said.

I watched the edited 93 minute version and now three years later I watched it again and I didnt slept this time. I enjoyed so much the movie that I made a third screening with a group of friends and our response was unanimous: Vincent Gallo acomplished a great job by doing this provocative portrait of male sexuality.

All of my friends coincided in saying that the way its represented in the movie is the way it feels when you are love-obsessed, when you feel guilty and cannot go through. The demons that haunt you when you have not been great in a relationship and things have gone bad.

Its needless to say that the sex scene is not sexy; its cold and talks about frustration and things that cannot be fixed. I think that it will take years for audiences to really get this but as far as I know good art is always like that.

I only hope that Gallo dont give a f**k about what people or critics think of him, I hope him to be faithful to his art and keep making good films. If youre a man with a past, go buy this movie. It will not make you happy but it will talk you about yourself and the way we are as men when we dont know how to be strong or how to respond when we are most needed.
