Review of The Brown Bunny (2003) by Rachel B — 21 Mar 2008
Throughout most of the film, I was thinking, "Wow, Vincent Gallo is one of the most self-indulgent a-holes ever!" Then it all came together in the end. Watching this was like being in the passenger seat of a sad and lonely road trip.
I would say that I was in the right mood for it because had I been expecting something spectacular, I would've been sorely disappointed. There are movies that draw you in and blow you away. This was not one of them.
