Review of The Brown Bunny (2003) by Andrew K — 29 Aug 2008
This movie was deeply emotional and disturbing. I felt in touch with gallo's characeters emotions, I loved the composition of his shots and the film in general I think a lot of time in modern cinema is wasted in too much talking and having no meaning in the words, my only thing with this film is I wouldn't straight out recommend it for everyone being that there is a very graphic sex scene at the end, but I do feel the scene has a place in the film and is not necassirly pornographic it is shocking and when you watch this film you need to realize that this scene is in it but it does add to the rawness of the emotions of gallos main character and also chloe sevigny is very good in this film, it was deeply intriguing, deeply moving, disturbing and a film I will not soon forget thank you mr.
Gallo.
