Review of The Brown Bunny (2003) by Paula B — 21 Aug 2004
Ok, I have not seen this movie as many people have not seen this movie. I just thought I would give a reviews of the reviews of this movie. I know it's weird but just stick with me here.
Ok for those of you who don't know this movie has gotten a lot of buzz after being booed at Cannes. (it takes a lot to get booed at cannes). It Written, directed and starred in by a guy names Vincent Gallo. he apparently made a movie called buffalo 66 which was apparently good. Which the brown bunny is not.
It is about a racer who travels across the country and is haunted by the thoughts of his former girlfriend played by Chloe Sevigny. At the end of the movie they aparently get back together with a very big, graphic scene. so you sit through 87 minutes of crap and you get a 3 minute hummer scene as your reward. And from what people have been saying...it's REAL! Like real side shots and everything!
Ok I am in no way a huge perv and want to see this movie just because of the BJ, but...um I do want to see this movie. Doubt it'll ever get released in US theatres, but we can hope for dvd.
I just can't believe a well known actress such as her would do such a graphic scene. What else is pretty interesting to me is how bad this movie supposedly is. At least you get a present at the end! he he he!
Paula.
(no I am not a perv!).
P.S. I gave the reviews and buzz of the movie a 6. I haven't seen the movie yet so I can't give it a 0).
