Review of The Brothers Solomon (2007) by Adam K — 25 Mar 2008

I don't totally hate this movie. I decided to watch it because I was both sick and tired and wanted something that I could ignore and not feel like I needed to re-watch it. This movie has a few laughs, mostly absurdist or gross-out humor.

You will absolutely hate Dean and John Solomon. They are incredibly stupid and annoying. Usually a movie like this needs to have some charm, but in this case, you don't sympathize with the characters for their lack of social grace (as you do in a movie like 40-Year-Old Virgin).

Instead, you hate them for it. But, you must begrudgingly give them a few laughs, too.
