Review of The Brothers Solomon (2007) by Grey D — 21 May 2008
This a fresh alternative to the tiresome Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler movies. Don't get me wrong - I love Sandler and Ferrell, but their jokes are growing kinda stale and it's nice to have some fresh faces.
These guys are pretty wacky and just as dumb as any other SNL-type comedians, but I found them endearing and likable. Many of the jokes are predictable and take too long to get out. But there were a handful of surprises that made me laugh.
Far from a great or even a smart movie, but it's worth a look on a rainy afternoon for a chuckle and some mindless entertainment.
