Review of The Brothers Solomon (2007) by Michelle P — 14 Nov 2008
This Movie did not dissapoint me at all. It's got a very vague type of humor, where you really have to get to know the character in order to laugh at the most minor things. This movie is by far one of the best comedies that I have ever seen. One of the most majestic scenes where the younger brother practices by changing diapers and for every change he is surprise by some sort of item. Ranging from Quarters to a thank you card, and of course who could forget The Poppcorn and the Dead Bird Combination.
I have seen this movie about 4 times today and I guarantee it will make you laugh. IF you laughed the first time, watch it again. Then again. Then again. Then Again.
Will Forte's awkward comedic relief really brings me back to the old days where he always had the most minor roles on saturday night live. And he picked the greatest director to allow him to have his first starting role. I give this movie a big thumbs up bigger than Ebert and Roeper's balls combined.
