Review of The Brothers McMullen (1995) by Leon C — 20 Jun 2009
An early indie-film dream success at Sundance (shot on weekends for little money), Edward Burns' film is a heartfelt, funny and honest story about three brothers and their relationships with women and religion.
One special thing about the film is its focus on spirituality: these characters aren't saints, they are human.
