Review of The Brothers Grimm (2005) by Matt D — 06 Jul 2009
This fantasy tale shows helmer Terry Gilliam at his best and worst; the best being his wonderful imagination let loose, the worst being a lack of structure. Technically, it's a glorious mess, but it's highly enjoyable to watch, with fine performances from Matt Damon and, especially, the late Heath Ledger, which pretty much make Peter Stormarr's risible Cavaldi forgivable.
