Review of The Brothers Grimm (2005) by Angela O — 23 Jul 2009
A sometimes haunting but more often humorous wacky mish mash of fairy tales, the brothers grimm creates an entire world similar to that of ridley scott's legend but even more vast with the visual style of the extremely underrated masterpiece the fall and gilliam's own brazil, but the brothers grimm has a far broader audience than some of gilliam's other work, here it is all about the shocking, stunning visuals and taking an exciting ride rather than examining a complicated, dense, abstract work [which is all fine by me], I look forward to seeing twelve monkeys and the release of the imaginarium of dr.
parnassus.
