At every attempt to work within the Hollywood system Gilliam has been constrained and censured by the studios. Yet you can never completely hold back the vision of a creative genius. This is not the movie it could have been had Gilliam been given free reign, but it is a great deal underrated and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
