Terry Gilliam goes back to his fantasy roots and HOW!!! Finally a fantasy movie that feels and acts like a fantasy movie. Now Lord of the Rings was fantastic but this beats it on the level of fantasy. The settings were amazing. The enchanted forest was creepy and you felt uncomfortable while they were in it. You felt like you were being watched. How empty the sounds were. And the fairy tales are presented in their ghoulish glory. It's nightmarish in such a way that you can't take your eyes off it. Another reason to enjoy this movie is Heath Ledger. When he first came on the movie scene I really didn't care for him. Just seemed like another imported pretty boy for the next group of teens to buy folders and notebooks with his face on. But surprise this man has some actualy range to him. Took a bit of time to get there but he did. And Matt Damon played great as his along side him. I really would have liked to have seen them together again. Peter Stormare is wonderful as usual as the torture hungry Italian acting like the town bully slapping people in the back of the head but when trouble comes he is the first to run away. Jonathan Pryce an evil delight as always. And the sexy pair of Lena Headey and Monica Bellucci finishes the picture.

Most Awesome Moment: Peter Stormare is talking big and bold and a little kitten brushes his feet and he freaks out kicking the cute kitten into this rotating bladed drill just obliterating the cute fuzzy kitty. You'll laugh while you're girlfriend will look horrified.
