Review of The Brothers Grimm (2005) by Kenneth R — 13 Dec 2010
It's a Terry Gilliam film: you like it or not. It's his style, kinda influenced by the baroque, the gothic style with strange elements into it. People will find it weird and not structured at all but it's Gilliam's signature, with his kind of humour.
At some point it looked like a Burton movie (Sleepy Hollow). Beautifully shot, great cinematography, the script lacks at some points, but overall, it's good. It's defenietly not Gilliam's best work but it's worth watching and not as bad as people says.
