Very pretty in the visual sense, but a script that leaves the viewer totally unsatisfied. It tried too much to persuade with its kitsch fairy tale-like aura. When not taken too seriously may come as funny, but don't expect too much.
The Grimm brothers, I believe, weren't as one dimensional as they are in this incoherent mess.
