Review of The Brothers Grimm (2005) by Ryan S — 15 Sep 2012

While I agee wih most people who say that this is not Gilliam's finest work, I rather enjoyed the Brothers Grimm. Certainly it was lacking in some areas, possibly most noticeably in the zany antics and off the wall characterizations, but on the whole it was a strong film.

Any other director makes this movie and he would hav been hailed a genius, Gilliam makes it and it's a "disapointment". Remember this is the guy who made Brazil just to piss people off and who put that horrible not ending on Holy Grail because it was funny.
