Review of The Brothers Grimm (2005) by Teela M — 23 Nov 2013
The Brothers Grimm uses great ideas, fantastic actors, a very talented director, and ends completely flat, devoid of anything remotely intelligent. It is a shame and a disappointment to see Terry Gilliam create such a bland movie.
It looks pretty, and tries hard to blend stories, but becomes a mish mash of all the famous fairy tales, and provides no real story or character development. Plainly put; it is a sad disappointment.
