Review of The Brothers Bloom (2008) by Rodney T — 26 Mar 2010

This was an interesting one. A wonderful cast (Brody, Ruffalo, Weisz, and Kikuchi) seemed to mesh together very well, and the movie opened strong and had charming, funny spots throughout. The characters were great, their outfits and the art direction was beautiful, but the story got a bit muddled and ended in a way that I feel was inconsistent with the rest of the film.

That being said, it was a worthwhile film for Jana and I to watch together as a fun distraction.
