Review of The Broken Hearts Gallery (2020) by Darkbloodshed13 — 14 Sep 2020
The Broken Hearts Gallery is the first film to be directed by Natalie Krinsky and is about a girls named Lucy Gulliver, played by Geraldine Viswanathan, who collects stuff from her past breakups and one day after she goes through another breakup decides to open up a gallery where people can come and drop off items from a past breakup.
This film is okay for the most part. The acting is pretty good especially Geraldine Viswanathan who brings a great amount of energy and charisma to the role of Lucy. The jokes can be hit or miss at times but for the most part the film is pretty funny.
However this film does have big problem with its writing in the that it is just cliche. I literally was able guess what was going happen with in the first few minutes of the film. I know that there isn't much that hasn't been done in a romantic comedy but you still need find something unique to give your story weight as it is I could just put on any romance film and get a similar feeling that I get in this film.
In conclusion Like I said earlier this film does have good acting and good jokes that make it worth the watch just don't expect anything new here.
