Review of The Bridges of Madison County (1995) by Ritu R — 14 Jun 2008

I think this is the ultimate chick flick for the best romantic movie ever made. I cried buckets especially during the rain scene. The chemistry between Clintie and Meryl is searing even though they are so much older in this movie and seemingly unlikely romantic pair to be cast together for this particular story.

"The English Patient" comes a close second after this followed by "Out of Africa" ... Meryl Streep is magnificent in any role. She's my favourite!
