Wow, this was heartbreakingly good. I had a professor who broke up with his girlfriend because she liked this movie. people who don't like this movie get tied down by formalities and try to treat emotions, like love, as something that can be controlled or stopped.
making a blanket statement that cheating is always wrong, well, it's unrealistic. this movie reflected reality much better than most romantic crap movies with a glossy happy ending. I would go a step further and say she should have left her husband.
her kids were nearly grown anyway.
