I told myself I would never watch this, as I read the book a long time ago, and I thought the subject matter not something I needed to watch. But, I did it anyway, and I was amazed at Clint Eastwood, I really was.
Very impressed. But, I cried, a lot. As I type this, I realize, although her experience helped her children, that is the only hope in this story-- that by others' mistakes maybe some will learn and not be doomed to repeat them.
