Review of The Bridges of Madison County (1995) by Vanessa G — 08 Jul 2012
Wonderfully rewarding and heart tugging. You felt yourself just as confused and torn as Meryl streeps character Franchesca. Great chemistry between Eastwood and Streep. I didn't see the ending as fair but I liked how realistic it was.
Running away for love isn't going to solve things. She couldn't leave her kids and husband. She didn't live up to her dreams but running away with Clint Eastwood wouldn't seem like the right thing to do.
Overall, fuck twilight and all these little teeny bop love stories, this is a true romance movie. It emotionly pulls u in and makes you question your own love life.
