Review of The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957) by Manny C — 12 Aug 2008
David Lean creates a war movie of epic magnitudes. Alec Guiness and Willaim Holden are perfection as the British and American soldier ion a war of wills. Then there's Sessue Hayakawa as the general keeping them prisoner in a fantastic performance.
And when that bridge is destroyed at the end, it's a doozy!
