Review of The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957) by Samuel L — 23 Sep 2008
Another movie from David Lean (who also directed Lawrence of Arabia), which deserves its reputation as a classic of cinema. A richly layered and inspiring tale about honor, morality, being British, and leaving your legacy.
I was amazed at how many character's perspectives were laid out without being dumb downed at all.
