Review of The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957) by Jason J — 28 May 2008
I can see why this film was an epic of its day. I'm starting to get caught up on classic films, and this was on my Netflix list. I was very impressed particularly with Alec Guinness and his character.
It was an interesting story, with great character development. We saw the tremendous courage men can display in a desperate situation, what it takes for survival, and how one's pride can make you forget whose side you're really on.
