Review of The Bride Walks Out (1936) by Daryl K — 14 Dec 2012
Hopelessly dated in terms of male/female relationships, but still a pretty cute comedy. It seems, given the social mores of the day, that Gene Raymond's cash-strapped hubby could've solved a lot of his problems by socking Robert Young in the jaw right out, but I guess he was just trying to be nice about the guy putting the moves on his wife.
Even temptation of adultery is played as harmless fun here.
