Sometimes, a simpler story is more effective. This is one such example. While it could essentially work as a black-box stage production, The Breakfast Club takes one representative from each of the cliched group of cliques and forces them to interact, creating a fantastic character study.
It makes me wonder what would happen if our school forced random students to converse...
