Review of The Breakfast Club (1985) by Nate J — 28 Dec 2012
I can't believe it has taken me 27 years to see this film. I absolutely love it, it's comedy gold with a the drama of a teen flick. The cast are brilliant, but what makes it so special is the really basic concept.
It's such a simple plot, there is no massive story or stupid sfx, it's kids in a room for 8 hours. But it's clever in the way it keeps it's audience drawn in. And if for no other reason, then watch for Estevez's dance routine.
It's incredible!
