In the age when the word high school movies are heard, american pie comes to your memory, this classic of the 1980's really is a marvelous movie. Not because it does something amazing from other high school movies but because of how its done!
The characters have really grounded personalities and since there are just 5 main characters in the story, its very story driven. Very unlikely to be seen in todays high school movies.
Generating many laughs yet staying true to their characters, its an very enjoyable film.
