Sometimes I wonder why there aren't films like this produced nowadays. Is it that we don't care about our teenagers anymore? Is it that we don't believe such schmalz would have success nowadays or is it because we miss teen icons like Molly Ringwald? Whatever the reasons they can't be good, because it seems that movies like "The Breakfast Club" are more important then ever.
