Review of The Breakfast Club (1985) by Dale C — 24 May 2014
The Breakfast Club, with it's very simple plot, stereotyped actors and almost play like set, has no where to hide. Saying that, The Breakfast Club provides light and heartwarming entertainment and manages to explore these stereotypes and develop the characters throughout the Saturday Detention.
The Breakfast Club has set itself in the 80's decade for a reason (though the costuming and the music) and in even in 2014, that stuff holds up and the stereotypes rain true all this time later! (8.
5/10 or A-).
