Review of The Breakfast Club (1985) by Electro P — 12 Jul 2013
Finally, a teen movie with an unexpected storyline. its one of those films where nothing particularly happens, but its this nothingness that becomes everything. from the start you work out which characters you love and hate, but as you delve deeper into the complexity of each of their lives, you find a love for each of them.
I like how you feel convictem for instant judging and the message of how spending so little time with someone can change lives forever. it transists well from smooth comedy to serious drama and has surprises at every turn.
the breakfast club shows that sometimes the greatest movies are the most simple of all.
