Review of The Breakfast Club (1985) by Laura R — 04 Jan 2014
This movie has stuck around for almost 30 years because it is timeless. It tells a very real story about 5 kids who are socially separated but are also similar in many ways. Everyone out there can relate to these characters, and they're heartbreaking confessions to each other are so real that one can't help but root for these people.
The fact that the majority of this movie is simply dialogue with very few changes in scenery but I was never bored, makes it even better. I was glued to the screen and couldn't wait to figure out what these kids were hiding.
This is a special movie that everyone should see.
