Review of The Breakfast Club (1985) by Andrew L — 27 Jan 2016
There is a good reason why people still love this film even 30 years after it's release. Because even though these teenagers are obviously from the mid 1980's, it speaks to teenagers of every generation.
It speaks to the struggles that we all go through at that age and let us know that we are not all that different. Sure on the outside we all fit into our little cliques and some rise above each other on the popularity ladder, but really, if we took the chance to know one another, we actually have more in common then we know.
Great performances by the whole cast and of course I can't forget to mention the great use of music at the end. Do I even need to say what song it is. You all have heard it...... Well, if you don't, then watch, 'The Breakfast Club'.
