This is the quintessential High School movie. The characters talk like real teenagers and, even though they are all part of a particular social clic, anyone can identify with them. This film is rated R, mainly for the language but besides that, this film could have easily been rated PG-13 and I think mature teenagers can handle it.

This is one of the few movies that can actually make me cry, seeing as the ending to this movie is one of the best in film history, and you really grow attached to these characters during the course of the film.

I can offer nothing more than the highest recommendation for this film. This is some of best that cinema has to offer.
