Review of The Break-Up (2006) by Billy P — 27 Feb 2010
One of the few romcom/chick flicks that doesn't treat the audience like idiots. Jennifer Aniston character isn't some dumb blonde and Vince Vaughn character doesn't fart at every opportunity.
It's a breath of fresh air not to be shown another blue collar guy acting like a total baboon. Watching this couples relationship unraveling is a bitter sweet tale so don't be expecting slapstick.
